pulling calvessssss--as in plural

well we had a WEIRD experience here tonight, had a cow having trouble calving
so I got her in and run an arm in her--guess what I found???
two heads--I thought "Oh twins"
so I thought I'd better feel around and make sure that when I pulled, I had the same legs on the same calf, it was awkward, not much room to feel around--
finally I thought I had it strait-- got the chains on, puller
attached, made a little headway, then it stopped coming,
I tried again, stuck,
wouldn't move and inch, I tried everything I knew how to do, wouldn't come
any further.
So I regrouped and felt around again--
I finally found the problem--I had a chain on one leg of one calf Guess what
leg I had the other end of the chain hooked to???

This just goes to show that we can't choose our friends on Ranchers.net. That was a good one, though, Lonecowboy. I was preparing myself for some pretty bad photos. My next thought was that we were going to have to shut down this board completely in order to save the good name of our ranching professionals in the eyes of the public. :shock:

All we need is another comedian on this here forum. :wink: 8) :wink: 8)

I was visiting with a friend today. He said last night he got a phone call from his college-age son, who had gone to another town to visit one of his friends. He reported that they had too much to drink, had gotten a bit too rowdy, and were serving time in the city jail. My friend asked how long they were to be detained. The boy answered that he wasn't sure, as they had only been in for about fifteen minutes so far, and he was using his "one phone call" privilege. My friend was starting to get a little mad about the deal, and was just about to the point of coming "unglued" so to speak, and to start telling his son what he thought. Then the boy said, "April Fool, Dad."

It took a little while for my friend to get settled down, but he did finally see the humor in the prank. :wink: :-)
 
That was an evil trick the your friend's son played on his Father Soapweed. Wish I would have thought of something like that when I was younger :D :evil: :D It just wouldn't have the same effect if I were to do it now. The Father was probably a bit irritated for a time, but definitely something they will remember and laugh about for a long time.
