Was Pure Country really on it?
Yes :) Its a 10 week series about the town Pure Country lives in...the women in town{other then essential services} leave for a week, the men still have to work, look after thier kids and do some community work.Pures town is an oil field based town so some of these guys were acting tough,no problam doin it all      Pure country I believe will probaby ace all those other guys :)

I live in the same county and know lots of those people,it was interesting to say the least

Interesting is an interesting word to describe what we saw in last night's premiere. I knew all those folks they showed had previous marriages/relationships, but the way they portray it only showing these families, make it sound like that's the demographic of the whole town, YIKES! And they made it sound like Jeremy & Teresa Ottenbreit were on the verge of divorce, when they're probably the most secure marriage in town. We're very close friends and do alot of stuff together. Our boys - Ronan & Carver are in play school together, and they're little girl Wrystan is the same age as our Bodi.

Anyway, probably what surprised me most is how so many Fathers stated that they misssed alot of their kids' early years, and that they've never had to watch their kids like that before, and almost seemed nervous about it. I was totally excited about it. I just wish our baby, Emily, had been old enough to stay home with me. She went with the Mrs. on the trip, and didn't give Momma much rest either.

All in all, it was alot of fun doing the show. Apparently in the next few episodes they're going to make me out to be a borderline organic farmer(close enough to the truth I guess), and a "big environmentalist". HA! They should see the stack of disposable diapers I throw out every day.

I've seen Pure in action he could of opened a Daddy Day care that week and made a fortune lol. He's alot handier with his little guys than I was with mine. I expect to see some strategic Galloway product placement as the week goes on lol.

Another show that looks interesting to me is My redneck wedding or something like that. Anyone seen it yet?

Don't worry Northern, there'll be plenty of Glorious Galloway footage!! I'm sure they'll show the catching & tagging newborns on open range stuff. I stuffed my tagger in my back pocket and told the camera crew to stay put - with my kids at the truck no less - and after I'd caught the little bawler of fire, beat back a couple cows and flanked him, I reached for my tagger only to whack my elbow on the damn camera lens!! The cameraman and sound guy had followed me all the way!! Imagine what the cows though of that - a guy packing a camera the size of the calf, and the sound guy holding a 10' wand with one of those big fuzzy microphone covers that looks like a coyote tail. At least it was mid-June and we were in T-shirts. That happened a couple times actually, so who knows which scenes they'll broadcast.

:) Really enjoyed the program tonight...not as gossip riddin
Pure is as purdy as Goerge Strait :P

Watched it tonight. Pure Country, can I have your autograph? :-) :-) :-)

I agree with Mrs. Greg, he's a handsome man! A whole lot younger than what I figured he was.
