You know the Campbell's don't you-Scott shot an absolute monster whitetail buck-I just saw him-187 typical-what a deer-it's bigger than some of those Galloway cows -jkin'. There have been some awesome bucks shot up here-ty's friend shot a 23 inch wide buck o the wekend-he's got nothing for tine length but a clean 6x6-won't make 150 now but I bet was an easy 170 when he was in his prime.

That's awesome! I should call him and ask if he let the buck finish his oats before he pulled the trigger! :P :P :P My cousin hunts in Spiritwood country every year, and he showed up at my house last night with a jug of rum, wanting me to come with him to Saskabush. I took Mon-Thurs of next week off, so Whitetails beware.

AaHaaaa! Let the negotiations begin. You know my good friend from Ponoka and my cousin have been coming out there for years. Dan(from Ponoka) was on the cover of Big Buck Magazine 2 years ago with a 188-grossing typical Whitetail he got, and ever since I've been wanting to make the trip, but things just haven't fallen into place. Maybe next week will be different.

I should e-mail you some pics tonight when I get home of the herd bull I bought from Randy. Won't have our first calves from him until June, but we ran him with 20 head of Randy's heifers for 45 days, then 30 head of my purebreds and better commercial cows for 65 days, and he held his condition and did fine.

Whoops! Thanks jigs, I should have stated what province. I have heard B. C. is the best. Just curious. Yeah, I understand this kind of an off the wall question, but i'm bored as he!! at work. Sorry again jigs, i wont let it happen again.

BC??I'd pick Sask. or Alberta before BC.We have some pretty awesome whitetails in our area and the mulies are great too. Fulton, you need to be looking at Northern Ranchers pics, then you'll see Sask. has some deer that are bar-none.I understand theres good hunting in Silvers northern part of B.C.

The north half of Alberta and Sakatchewan are your best bets-actually there is no outfitting allowed in the southern half of Sask unless you are on an Indian reserve than pretty much anything goes. The forest fringe zones are pretty good in Sask and I'd guess northeast and north central Alta. Nothing is garanteed but you should see some good bucks if you are patient enough to wait.

hey Pure Ty and his buddy were out all afternoon looking for a doe for his buddy-I guess they saw a absolute pig-he came out with a 150 4x4 and just dwarfed him-he's a very lucky deer the boys didn't have a buck tag-he hung around at about 70 yards for about ten minutes-Ty's guessing him at high 170's net-I hope he can avoid the road warriors for the next two weeks. Sounds like he's still sharp tined so still got room to grow.
