I was wondering how my friends out there feel about our US Govt bailing out corporations that take their production to other countries, cost us jobs, and compete with companies that stay in the US. Actually management of many of these companies maroud and strip until they drive them into the ground in the name of effiency. Still management seems to be ending with most of the spoils in their pockets as they resell companies at discounted prices. It seems like some of the richest people in the world got that way with this business phylosophy. So why do the US taxpayers have to bail them out when they over do it? I think this international pocketpicking is affecting our business too. What do you think? I was thinking of Auto Companies like Chrysler and GM as well as AIG. Was also wondering why we have to bail out banks that take money out of the country? Many foriegners take the money out of those banks and keep it in caves and under their matresses so to speak and don't spend it here. No wonder we have lost our liquidity. So why do we have to bail them out?

It seems to me that the bailouts are for the purpose of not allowing failure when it is deserved. I

If no one can fail due to mismanagement and/or government interference, isn't it going to pull down successful businesses when they have to bear the brunt of taxes to bail out the unsuccessful?

It also seems part of a move toward more government and union ownership and control of many or all major businesses, such as financial industry, manufacturing, etc.

What do others think about this situation?

Revelations about the process and situation going on in Washington, DC is getting more frustrating, frightening, and DISGUSTING daily!
