I am shopping for a tractor and I located one in Fredrick Oklahoma. He said it was in the south west corner of the state. Any chance that would be near you? Or maybe you know someone that lives there.

I have pictures of the tractor but a personal inspection would help to let me know if it is one I should persue or keep looking closer to home. Thanks for any help. Have a great day.

Might be a nice time of the year to take a road trip to warmer climate. :D

Yeah, you've got a point there. Maybe a trip south would remind me that this "endless" winter will some day come to an end.

Heck, you'd just as well go south and check out that tractor. At least you don't have calving sneaking up on you real fast.

Frederick is about 11 miles from my place. I am afraid I would be zero help with a tractor, though. I am strictly a "grass farmer" (aka rancher). I don't even own a tractor.

I can give you some scuttlebutt on the dealer, if it is the big one.

Quality Implements in Frederick sells a lot of tractors. The local word is they generally sell quality tractors but they are "proud" of them.

If it is a private individual PM me and I can tell you what (if anything) I know about them.

Wow, what a coincedence, what are the odds you would live that close. Yes it is Quality Implements, and it is a John Deere 4455 with MFWD. I can't remember the salesmans name but he is selling the tractor for his father. He said it was in a hay shed last summer when a tornado went through and it caused some minor damage but that it has been fixed. I guess if you are in town and if you saw it you might be able to give me an idea of the appearence or maybe someone you know could give it an appraisal. It's a long drive for me if it's not worth looking at.

Just an idea, no big deal if you don't feel comfortable with it, don't worry about it. If I do come down though, I would love to see your operation. Thanks for the reply.
