Question for you carpenters...

Pretty darn nice. Did you do the work yourself?
Every bit of it...this is one of four bathrooms I've done, but my best work! :D It's hard to see in this picture, but the floor is 1" hexagon tile. My wife is typical of you women...what she wants is always what is most expensive and hardest to do!!!!! :?

Mike dis'ed me because I didn't know the difference between 'trowl' and 'trial' , so I had to show off! 8)

you and your wife must be very small people.....I notice the rim around your tub is only 8 inches tall or so!

Speaking of lowes, I was having some siding put on the house some years back. I wanted the windows trimmed out with metal wrapped boards. My carpenter didn't have a metal break to bend it with and I thought one might be kind of handy so I thought I'd buy a small portable one. I went to lowes to buy one. I asked the hardware kid if they had one and he didnt know so he told me to go ask the manager of the hardware dept. I go find the ponytailed hardware manager girl and explain that I need a metal break to bend the metal to wrap around the boards on my windows and for my soffit. She said she'd never heard of bending metal to make it softer. I hate those type places.
