Wondering if anyone knows anything about or has shot a Remington SPR18 rifle? My husband is shopping and needs some feedback before he spends his money!

Is that that new one that looks like an AR15? If it is it looks like it would be a sweet varmint rifle. Usually remington's are a pretty safe bet-any I've had have been good useful rifles or shotguns.

The SP18 is a Remington answer to the Ruger #1, in that it is a single shot. Haven't seen or shot one yet.

The Rem Model 710 (now changed to the model 770) is an absolute piece of junk. The barrel is a pressed in piece of junk (not threaded) that is a pure assembly line production piece made in eastern Europe, with low quality everything.

The 710 is a throw away gun when the barrel goes kapoof and accuracy starts downhill which is usually after about 300 rounds.

Get what you pay for.

NR. You must be thinking about the R-15 VTR.

Spr-18 is a Single shot rifle made by the Baikal factory,in Russia (Siberia).

The "SPR" stands for the "Spartan" line of guns made at Baikal.

They make a single shot shotgun also.
