Starting about tomorrow night they are predicting an arctic front moving in producing snow and colder for most the state..

I haven't heard much about them being bad, just tell him to stay cautios. I know the roads from Spokane to here, cental WA, are good. Where is he headed?

I don't envy where he's headed. Might tell him to watch Snoqualmie Pass west of Ellensburg, it can have restrictions this time of year. The roads are usually fairly good, but it is all the idiot "wet-siders" you need to watch out for.
