It started with Emily's team coming from behind to win the 'C' final in Vermillion-then we hopped in the van and drove 145 miles through a whiteout to get home. I ditched it to miss an oilfield tanker in the storm-I wasn't even done swearing when a friend drove by in his towtruck. I wasn't held up more than five minutes. Got home in time to watch Ty play-he scored a goal and they won 3-0. Now al my hockey players are home safe listening to the wind blow.

It was nice to see the kids have some success-our iceplant screwed up this fall and we missed a month of practice-AA is pretty competitive so our teams started out tough. If Ty goes stateside on a rodeo deal I won't get to see him play many more games so trying to catch as much as I can. I coach Emily's team so when they schedules match I'm gone with her. She's playing AA boys hockey so it's been a big step up-she drove the net Saturday and rung of of the crossbar so still looking for her first goal this year.

Whewwww, good to know your OK :) That wind& whiteout conditions were pretty bad yesterday.

How did Emilys team make out in Vermillion?Did they play any teams I'd know?

Worked this weekend,we have a flu breakout so there was no getting outta work. :(

Any more games close by?

We played Stettler they have a kid called Logan Hermus that is pretty dominating at Pee Wee age. The closest we get to you with Emily is Kindersley and with Ty will be Lloydminister if we play them in the playoffs. He's having a good year-nice to have two healthy knees to skate on.
