We aren't going to flood anytime soon, but it's been coming almost steady. If we're lucky, the Bearded Gramma will get a kick start and we'll have some chubby cattle come freeze.

Send her on out, MYT! We got .4 out of that one, assuming it was on Wed. evening. I did have enough hope to sell the calves on Superior's Week in the Rockies for October delivery.

Yup, that's the one. I hope those calves gain like weeds on the upcoming cool season grass. We're starting to see the slightest improvement on the range out here.

Reports are that there was 8.5" of rain west of Winner, SD yesterday or overnight, not sure which. It is too much for that country to get without damage, I'm sure.

Probably some beautiful wheat fields that are damaged, going by past drives through that area.

It is sad to have rains so needed go over the top in areas and damage them when other areas nearby could absorb some if it and all would be better off.
