Woke up to 1.1" in the gauge this morning, was lightening and thundering most of the night.
Hubby said that he heard yesterday, they had over 2" of rain in Phoenix the day/night before. Bet they had some major flooding goin on down there, with all the pavement they have. Rain doesn't seem to soak into that, much.

Man, this has been quite the monsoon season for you Ranchy! It sounded like your area was going to be in terrible drought earlier, and now you are floating away. What is your secret? lol.

Heck if I know, Tap...........maybe the combined efforts of everyone in the area's prayers?
All I can say for sure, is I was sure shocked that we'd gotten that much!
Hubby told Al to put on his hip waders, so they could go do chores.... ....the corral had almost dried out enough that you could get around without bogging down up to your eyeballs............
Sure would like to share some of our excess with some of the good folks that still need it.....
Have you been getting any of the wet stuff lately?

There was about an inch total in a couple different shots last week. It sure settled the dust and even got a bit of green growing in the burned areas. Every little bit helps! :D

We got 3.5" here last Friday, really soaked everything...finally drying up enough so we can clean the cattle yard tomorrow (I hope)...high for tomorrow is supposed to be 64!! Feels like an early fall already....

Feels "fallish" here, too.........day before yesterday, it was 36*........yesterday back up to about 42*, this morning back to 50*........I think it's having a hard time deciding what temp it wants to be, but as long as it stays above 32* for a while, I'll be happy. :D
