So time to post a few more pictures.

Our new dog Rusty. No papers, no idea of pedigree, as found on Kijiji. One thing for sure it is a he.

Plenty of cool shapes and colors in this hot photo.

Another one bites the dust. Going to have new neighbors for the third time that I can remember. This place has a history not making it work so be cautious when you tender your bid.

The best part of my job is checking the cows.

Green grass and rainbows are a result of day ending rain. Take care.

Nice photo's,did you get a killing frost yet?
A few 1-2 degree ones. Tonight looks like it will be the night. The rain quit this afternoon and the clouds disappeared and it is close to freezing right now. Lots of crop will not come out in good shape. The bright side is the house is warm.

Dodged the bullet one more night. o.5 a half of a degree on the warm side. :o A little in crop spraying going on here and a few too green wheat and canola crops being swathed. Peas are the only thing ready here too.

Nice shots. Your pup Rusty is going to be a tank!

What was burning?

Nice cow calf pair. :D

Ya Rusty is a truck for sure. I don't want to admit what was on fire as it is one of the most environmentally disgusting problems most ranches have. The fire was pretty neat and hot though. Thanks on the pair, I am still hoping you have a bull that she could be friends with next spring. I want to get to your cattle handling training later in the month but this crop might prevent that.

Know the feeling.
Still got standing malt barley. Saw guys north of us with standing spring wheat.
We got rained out of the feild yesterday too.

I was sanding the window and door frames inside of the new house when that storm hit. Took me awhile to figure out that it was thunder I was hearing over the sander. Got over .40"

We're not as cold as you guys up north (been getting down in the 40's) but we are getting the rain- that is sure hindering harvest and haying...

We picked up another 1/2 an inch last night...Nice for moisture in the ground- and to cut the fire danger now that hunting season has started, but I'd like to see the rest the wheat in a bin and hay in a stack...

No problem on the bull. I anticipate the haying harvesting challenges to be an issue, but so far I have been told it is a go. Good luck with the crop. :-)
