Great pictures again this week, I tell ya'll........it's gettin so tough to vote that I have to get Al to come help me decide.........lol

#2 is just awesome, wish those horses had been hitched to something though, would have made it even better!

While that is not me standing in the rain doing the fence - I sure can relate. Wet and cold or hot, muggy and lots of mosquitoes - long week here.

And still another mile and a half to go. Gotta' be done on Friday night. The cows move Saturday morning.

To tell you the truth, I had mixed emotions about this catagory. I
wasn't too sure it would fly. Boy, was I wrong. These are some
terrific photos!!!

Now if I could just decide which one to vote for...

Oh, it isn't just me. I have had lots of help.

Funny how posts on here will strike you as something that would make
a good catagory for the contest.

As for the work part, that has been mainly cert and then
Jersey Lilly; and they have done a SUPER job. It was so
nice of cert to take this on, and the same goes for Jersey Lilly
filling in when cert wasn't available for a few weeks.
Always nice to have an A-Team on your side!!!

#1 reminds me,
Several years ago I was e-mailed by a fellow who was writing an article on stackers and couldn't find any good photos (that weren't copywrited in books, that is).
Until he ran across my website which had a number of photos of hay stacking in the Sandhills, complete with hay sweeps.
Not only did he use our photos, but the lesser half helped him write his article. It was kind of neat. He just got it published a couple months ago and mailed us a copy of the magazine.
So whoever took that shot, I'll bet there are others similar to it. You should consider making up a webpage.

There have been black and white photos entered in other contests in other weeks. Leave them alone. How do you know that B&W picture was not taken with good old black and white film??????????????
I use color and B&W film all the time.
That is the kind of nit picking that ruins the contest.

WOW....#5 REALLY looks like me when i was about 12 or 13!!! Even the cow looks kinda like an old black rip we used to have...and we had to tie her back legs just like that. Always have to tie the tail in it to or they whip it around and it only takes about two good swats across the mouth with a shirt covered tail to really tork a feller off! haha Nice Picture!

My digital camera will take either color or B&W, and it doesn't have to be changed later with a photo program. I don't know if that is the case here, but I like B&W on some photos. Some pics look far better in B&W. Just my two cents worth.
