We bought the Mack in Calgary along with a Highboy. I drove it out of Mack trucks at rush hour. You can't rush your shifts in a Mack but I sure was. It was a long night diving home. Seems funny to see that old highboy sitting up the road hooked to the neighbors truck.

I sold my old Cab over. The math said I could hire lots of trucking for the maintenance of the truck. I traded my high boy (at least the use of) for a tractor when I need it to haul hay. He uses it to haul pallets to Cargill. There are lots of pots and truckers who will do it for less than owning my own cost me and I don't have to drive freeing up some time. Same with grain. One of the advantages to being near the city. Out where you are I am guessing that owning your own guarantees service.
