It works quite well.

I traded in a 504 International tractor, that we no longer need, for this contraption. It is also kind of an early Mother's Day present for the little lady.
PeachBlossomusesittotaginthedaytime.jpg

Peach Blossom uses it to check cows and tag in the daytime, and Kenneth rides it at night in the calving lot. His aching knees no longer allow him to get on and off of a horse, so this makes his life easier.

My wife wanted/wants me to buy one of those cages for calving... saw one last year, looked pretty slick but some of our ground.. is not exactly smooth, more like covered in hummucks and water and I don't think this contraption would work in those two pasturs very well but it would probably work in the other ones fine and any future ones we put it it would be perfect for.

Down Katy, Down girl 8) WIll some one please hand the young lassy a kerchief so she can soak up her drool

From what I can tell....the crease of that hat is called "The Gambler".
What does he call it? or what's it called up there? Used to...you could tell where a person was from by their hat crease. Not so anymore these days.

I seen a contraption similar to that mounted on the side of an old ford truck...on a show on RFDTV......can't remember where the fella was that had built it.....but we watched the short clip of him usin it.....I don't think it would work for us. Hope it works out great for ya'll tho...

Yes, you would not have gotten away with it, except for those meddling kids and darn dog too!

Well let's see. My life is not complete unless I am tormenting you :)
Cosmo is a cutie, If I was 300 years younger you just never know :)
Yep the pony is cute but lets face it you are an in an isolated province with only one or two available young fellers :) Did I mention I was a wee bit of a poop disturber?
