When I was in school, one of my cousins had a teacher at her small country school that was a bit of a blow hard. This teacher was going around the class asking each student to tell what they had done over the weekend, and he began by telling that he had gone to a branding at a purebred Angus ranch, and done all the dehorning :shock: :roll: . My cousin the said that she had spent the weekend pumping up tires on a freight train :wink: ! The class just roared, but the teacher didn't understand his bluff had just been called. :lol: :lol:

When I was a jr in high school, a few of us skiped school and told the teacher we were puttin styrfome cups over watermellon plants to keep the frost from killin them. He bought it. The next day we layed out again and told him the next, we had to take the cups off. I use to see this teacher and remind him about it. They do cup plants in south fla for real with the tops cut out.
