A few weeks ago, a rancher in Colorado loaded 29 fat open cows in a cattle pot and headed towards the auction.
The truck got less that a quarter mile before it crossed some railroad tracks -- at the same time as a coal train .
Truck was destroyed, 19 cows killed outright three more had to be destroyed.
Saddest was that the truck was a private carrier and was not insured to carry for others, so no cargo insurance.
Not sure how this is going to work out, but it can't be good.
The surviving cows won't go anywhere near the railroad tracks now!!
