Great family pictures there Soapweed.

I like the ones of you with the boots on in the house. My wife would kill me but I always remember my Pepere ( Grandpa ) wearing his in the house.

I have always appreciated my bride letting me wear boots in the house. My mother always let Dad and me wear boots in her house, too. However, I do wear overshoes in mucky conditions, and if the boots get any bad stuff on them, they come off at the door.

This reminds me of my uncle back many year ago. He always had to take his boots of in their house, so one winter he would just step out of his boots which were still in his overshoes. The poor boots never got to see the light of day or get to dry out, and they were a rotten mess come spring. Overshoes were necessary to even hold them together enough for him to wear. :)

There may be such a thing as living in too pristine of an environment to stay healthy. Exposure to a few germs keeps a person's immunity built up.

Soap, I noticed you and Mr. FH have similar haircuts.
I suppose that comes from you both wearing hats all your life. :p

Those grandbabies sure are special, aren't they? Trouble is, they
grow up way too quick. Especially when you only have one, like us.
Ours is 17 1/2 now.
