This little trip was done in 2006 in the Fisher Tower country east of Moab Utah. We were headed to the little water fall in Onion Creek.
Someone said we rode thirty two miles round trip, but I was sure it was more like fifty. The country is some of the most colorful Iv'e ever been in, and some of the most rugged. On the first day, after we had set up camp, I was looking at the Fisher Tower with the glasses and saw to climbers (fools is what I thought) on top. I was happy to be where I was. It makes my knees ache just thinking about it.

Pretty county, A GPS would be handy, could tell distance traveled and where the hell you are.

Very neat country, have staked thousands of uranium claims there and similar--

Charlie Steen---the 'uranium king' ---initiated the boom, a "50 million dollar lick!" in the early 50's
