came about a week ago and went on a killing spree in the wife's chicken yard. got at least fifty of her roasting chikens, left them dead all over and buried quite a few all over the place. between trying to hay between showers and trying to get him half the night am running a little low on sleep.have dealt with coyotes all my life but this is the first fox , they are extremely (shall i say it) foxxy. any tip's on how to get this sob would be appreciated thankyou

I have a neighbor that has a live trap that hold's a live chicken in the back for bait. The animal has to go in the trap to get close to it as it is covered on the outside. The chicken has a cage so it can't acctually get ate. He has caught some wily bobcats with this, maybe something like that would work. Don't know much about fox though.

An old neighbor of Dad's had a coyote stealing chickens. It would wait until they headed for the field and would come in for a chicken.

Just so happened that one day Mr. Coyote came in and there was a WW2 sharpshooter waiting in the barn loft.

Tie your dogs and hang some snares where it's crawling through the tight spots.

Glad to know I'm not alone in this issue. :( :D

sacifise a fat ole chicken hen to git the fox, very easy to catch em if the coons dont git there first.
But you gotta git you some leg hold traps, like this one, need a couple of em 3 is better.
stake that ole fat hen out close to the chicken pin and sit the traps where she caint light em off, mr fox will be waiting for you come sunup.
