Great bunch of photos this week.

That was the first picture i took with my daughters new camera.
It was last September we had picked up the bulls and were going to use a neighbors little corral to load up a couple of foot rot cows but his bull was at the corral and i told him we would lock his bull up for him if we caught him close by. We did so were sitting waiting for him to come the forty miles with his trailer to get him out of the way so we could gather our cows and load up.
The buckskin is a home raised filly and was only three when the picture was taken. Britt used her picking up bulls and she worked like old ranch horse. The brown is the horse i was using. Britt broke him when she was away at school up in NR's country back in 2000. He was also the horse used by Mantracker when we filmed on the ranch.
The buckskin is by our Doc BarxMajor Bonanza stud and the brown is out of a double bred Peppy San stud. They are both out of a home raised black mare that is now the foundation of our brood mares.

Let's hear the stories behind the other pictures. :D

BMR that is an awesome pic! It was hard to pick my fav this week! I really liked soapweeds pic too!

The pic I entered is of Six Mile Pond in Utah. We were there hunting and not far from camp was the pond. In the evenings after hunting or while the guide had other people out we fished for trout and O.M.G. were there trout! they were so yummy cooked over the fire. It is an amazing place (IMO) The water was so clear you could see the bottom in 30+ feet of water in the middle. On our last evening in camp I snapped this pic.
