Ok...for whatever reason...I don't remember Dr. Hook. I remember the name Dr. Hook...but I don't remember that video.

Maybe it's cuz I'm a girl haha that kinda thing don't stick in my brain like it would you guys.

Bet you remember the "Achy Breaky" guy.

Unfortunately lol Not because I liked him or the song.

Now Trace Adkins...yes...I remember him. Badonkadonk. But not cuz of the gals in the video. I just like Trace Adkins

He needs a haircut & a shave and, for God's sake, a new hat that doesn't look like it's been in the seat of his pickup for 6 months with him sitting on it!!!!

I dunno....wouldn't be Trace Adkins without the hair.....I agree on the shave....and the hat. But it's his voice.......
Same goes for Sam Elliott.....it's more his voice than any other thing about him. The scruffiness..tho...that's just how he is supposed to look in a western movie.

Trace Adkins is better with the hat then without in my opinion. Not caring if it's a new hat or an old one. :?

Sam Elliot's voice I agree is the thing. He looks just like he should even if he is aging.

:agree:

Don't know why Mr Adkins stole the show, there's no comparison.

At your age Lily, I don't know how you don't remember Dr Hook.
She probally too young to know this one either

jodywy, that's one of my favorite songs of all time, not only is the harmony great at the beginning, but the lyrics are 2nd to none! :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Haha @ too young.....

I do remember Queen....but not the "Fat Bottomed Girl" song.

The main reason I don't remember Dr. Hook...other than the name. Is because I didn't listen to that kinda music growin up. I was and still am almost 100% country music....

I do like some of the old rock n roll stuff. But not much.

Sorry to hear you lived such a sheltered life.

Not necessarily "sheltered" it was by choice I suppose. I was too busy singin Don Williams...and George Strait songs while cruisin the drag

I heard the other day that Don Williams is coming out of retirement and putting on a concert in Regina. :D

Aahh, I sang along with those same country tunes by choice, too. But my choices were more diversified, and I didn't wear out any tapes! :P

I didn't know any of it. I'm either musically challenged or young. Let's agree to go with young. :D
Is that your final answer?
You can change it to musically challenged and go with the mob!

It's a bigger prize! :P

Big Muddy....we went to a Don Williams Concert a couple years ago. Sounded just like he always did, and looked the same as well. Sat there on his stool and played his guitar and sang all the good ones.

I sure wish he'd make some new music...just to add to what he's already done.
