We usta go out lizzard huntin with the bb guns. This was when we were still a lil young for .22's. age 6 or 7.
I remember one summer, stayin with my grandma. The bb gun stayed standin up in the corner behind the front door. I asked grandma if I could go shoot birds...she said sureeeeeeee....just don't shoot the country birds..only shoot the city birds. (she lived out in the middle of no where LOL) So out I go......sittin right there on the front porch.....and a bird landed on the high line......I took aim.......and shot. To my surprise the bird did a spiral and hit the ground!!!!!!!!!!I jumped and ran and grabbed it up and took off to go find grandma to show her my prize! All excited cuz I'd actually hit one.
Well......that's the only spankin I ever remember grandma givin me. I'd shot a country bird (blue jay) I didnt know the difference between a country and city bird. I learned real fast after that which ones were which. LOL
