Just some pictures of the replacement heifer pen.

I won't win any awards with these photos, but it was just to nice of an afternoon to not be outside.

They look a little bigger framed than what fits here but they are darn good cattle just the same.

Most of these heifers will mature around the 1350 to 1450 lbs range. There are a couple that will be bigger and a couple smaller. I just shipped 5 opens the other day that averaged 1237lbs. There were a couple 8 yr olds and a couple 3-4 yr olds in that group. I actually have quite a moderate cow herd for around here. I have never been a fan of great big cows. They have there place on some operations, just not mine.
