When the ride was over, Peach and I stopped at the Fort Robinson restaurant. She ordered chocolate ice cream and a glass of water. I opted for a chocolate sundae with whipped cream and a cherry on top, and a large glass of iced tea. My only regret is that I forgot to take a picture of the sundae. It tasted as good as it looked, and it was downright beautiful. :-) We had a fun day.

Great pictures... how far in total was the ride? we went to Fort Robinson when we lived in Nebraska, the buildings and the history are really something to see, also in the "prettiest" part of Nebraska I think!

The ride was ten miles altogether. We rode in an area that suffered a bad fire back in 1989. The hills used to be covered with a lot of pine trees, but they burned in the fire and haven't grown back very well. It is still a beautiful part of Nebraska.

skin. :D :D :D

We got those wineskins when we rode to the bottom of the Grand Canyon on mules, back in November of 1997. They were filled with water at the start of the two-day ride, and we got to keep them when it was over. :-)

I loved riding at Fort Robinson...did that many years ago when my kid was still in 4-H, and they had a camp there...Looks like you had a wonderful time and a good crowd too! Oh that chocolate sundae sounds so good!!!!! Thanks for sharing at LEAST your photo's....lol
