I went and made a deal on some purebred heifers yesterday a breed never run much on this place. Been busy all morning tamping the dirt back down on my Dad's grave. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Hey NR......Didja pick up those RWF heifers you pictured a few days back? Wouldn't go too far wrong with them girls altho you won't get the exercise and gymnastic practice you need for your EXT's and your sin cows in calving season! If you get a moment maybe you can PM me whose herd those heifers were from.

Hey NR,
I'll bet you got some longhorns. A guy that came out and helped us preg the other day stopped at the Vermillion sale before coming out here. He said that EXT has a replacement, and that the calves from this bull are going to make the EXTs look like the milk cows calf. He said the ring men were hiding behind the shields like they were selling Nevada range cows, not high priced Angus bulls, and those bulls came into the ring hunting. I should go down and buy you some semen but I don't think that any R-Calf semen is exportable to Canada :roll:

I'll have to plead the fifth here lol. Yeah I bought some Horned Hereford heifers-I'll put some pics up of them when they are delivered. I've been getting asked where to buy some forage developed Hereford bulls so I guess I'll try and raise a few. At the worst they'll be good moms for some baldies-they come from that outfit where I posted the pic of that nice uddered two year old.
