On the way to the Pryor Mountains on the Montana/Wyoming border, we drove through Yellowstone Park. It's always interesting to see the wildlife in the Park. Our main interest was to find Cloud, after seeing and hearing about him on TV.

Some of you have seen Cloud on the TV. We wanted to see if we could find him. We were exceedingly lucky to have him and his band come into water while we were in the neighborhood. The chances of being successful on such a lark, is not very great.

Who is cloud?

A lady from Boulder Colorado made two documentary about this palomino mustang she named Cloud. (Ginger Catherins) I've seen them a dozen times on PBS. She also printed the same documentary in book form. I really liked the stories she told about Sykes Ridge and the Arrow Head, where this band of mustangs are located. She spent a lot of time up there filming for the documentary's which included stud fights and wildlife scenes, forest fires and BLM round-ups.
