Someone asked me about Royal Rito awhile back. I just
found the paper that included him. It is from 1999, so not
real current, but since there isn't much available on the bull
that I can find, I thought I would post the information from
back then.

Sire: CH STACKER
MGS: PBC 707 IMF0203

EPDS: BW +4; WW +41; Milk: +12; YW +77; Scro. 1.36

Royal Rito traces 4 times to Rito 707. He has just started to
show his real value. Daughters now calving look excellent.
Powerful, balanced and beautiful.

I have long been interested in this bull and it is surprising,
because I never cared for Stacker cattle much. Some
friends of ours used him last year and really like what they
got--bulls and heifers. But last fall they did say they were a little
framier than some of the others. Guess I better talk to them now
and see what they think.

We have used Ben Lawson bloodlines and liked all of them... I always liked Ben because he said what was on his mind and at times went aginst the grain of the angus kissy, kissy, association..
Good utters and dispostion was a must for Ben... And I think they were cattle that could travel if they had too........

My best cow line traces to CH Stacker a daughter is now 13 and has an Alliance heifer calf at side this year her daughters have Bushwackers at side. They are 1200# cows not overlarge.3-4 frame deep ribbed cows. All with good udders and temperment.

Denny, you have some Viking GD60 bloodlines in your cattle, don't you?

katrina, yep, old Ben Lawson didn't cowtow to the Montana Mafia
either, so he always was a bit of a 'black sheep.' I appreciated him...

Quite a bit.I had a chance to buy some grandsons last fall but I passed on them beings I have one already. Both bulls sold to a couple commercial herds here and collecting semen on them would be no problem.

Denny,

The nice thing about Viking is that it doesn't matter if you have grandsons, you can always use another. He won't bring inbreeding problems like most bulls of today.
