Sainfoin ??s

Does anybody on here have experience with this forage? I have a dry corner of a pivot and think it may work there? How much hay do you get an acre? If a guy was to believe all the ads about it, you would think it would replace alfalfa.

I grew some dry land years ago. It did produce good but we hit a real dry spell and the Crested Wheat grass too over. Some still persists in the spots that catch a bit more snow. The cattle liked it better then Alfalfa.
