Juan I would'nt trade a new New Holland tractor for a equal model John Deere straight up,the old John Deere's are a completely differnt story  .............good luck
PS I get teased about my New Holland's regularly, but dollar for dollar they cant be beat.

I cannot fathom wanting to move back after something like that. New Orleans wasn't my ideal place to live anyhow. But how much common sense does it take? It is below sea level, it flooded........it's probably going to do it again. So why do we spend our money trying to rebuild it? I can see building homes for these people someplace else, but not in the same place where there's a great chance of it happening again. I guess if I lived in a place that totally flooded out and I knew it was going to do it again $1,329,787 wouldn't be enough for me to just rebuild there. Rebuild somewhere else.................not you could definately pay me to do that...... There isn't enough money in the world to make it worth going through that all over again. Just seems like there should be something better we could do.....

Haymaker, I got to agree with you on the New Holland tractors.....Deere fell to second place with the introduction of the Genesis line.

loaded out a load of hay today that was going down there to the Texas hill country. truck was out of Oklaunion Texas.

That Genesis is a strong engine, and correct me if IM wrong but,New Holland had to give up the Genesis engine when they acquired Case IH,guess Deere thought they would have a monopoly...........good luck

gave up the whole tractor, except they kept the transmission and the super steer front end.

we are trading off an old 4840, tough call because the old man bleeds green, and the rest of us want blue......

The good old Canadian built genesis tractors are still being built in Winnipeg, Man by Buhler/Versatile. They've updated them and they look like an excellent tractor. The best part is they were able to toss away that ugly blue paint!   PS - You'd better buy fast before the Canuck exchange rate passes $1.00 US   :lol2:
