scam ? or the real thing

Not too sure about it. Didn't watch the video links, computor has been locking up on me with them lately.
My thoughts are if they are trying to do a tazer for animals. It would have to be one big tazer. Normally when my animals get a small eletrical charge they learn to stay away.

I find this device to be disgusting. With more and more of the public becoming interested in humane treatment of animals, the use and promotion of this device will do nothing but damage our industry's image. I've seen this thing at trade-shows and it makes me mad to think the general public thinks all ranchers are accepting of this device.

Why would you double-up on the pain inflicted on the animal? This makes me sick  !!! A lot of the company's "treatment options" could be eliminated or minimzed with better herd management. Maybe use the device on producers who can't figure a better way to manage their cattle.

OK, I just watched a couple of videos, and it's absolutely ridiculous. They couldn't have done much better for making themselves look like a downright backwoods, bo-hunk kinda outfit that lobbyists love to hate. Bravo, ladies and gentlemen, well done. As if the industry doesn't already stand knee deep in free shite for those groups to sling from all angles.

As WyomingRancher stated, with better management, ie, dehorning at birth, castrating at birth/branding, branding in a decent squeeze/alley, why the he!! would you need to use one of these damn things?

I wasn't impressed with the dehorning video. I find their lack of use of blood stop powder when removing horns a little concerning. Also lot of bawling for being subdued by an electrical device.

I kind of thought the same thing.

The first thing a prospective buyer should do is use it on themselves.... if they get the desired reaction then buy it.
TO USE ON THEMSELF

Thats what i thought , i mean i am new to raising cattle and enjoying every minute of it so far , then i seen this video and was miffed thinking that i was behind the times not using electric devices to imobilze my critters, would'nt this tense the animal up and make for tougher meat ???
