I went in January of 2010. Lots of info. If you're looking for just ai would go to a class put on by a bull service company. But for all around it was great for me.
There is an A.I. DVD for sale here on Ranchers. Scroll down on the main page. I've wondered if it was any good. I went to a school years ago put on by local ABS rep. It was a lot of work for him as there were a dozen or so cows to practice on. A.I.'ing is like anything else, you learn the basics but practice makes perfect. I have a better outcome by hiring someone to do it...but I rarely use A.I.
There was a South Korean company that manufactured an interesting A.I. tool. It held your gun and allowed the inseminator to actually see the cervix for correct placement. I watched a video on it but never ordered one. It was a little expensive.
Can you find someone locally who A.I.'s and would be willing to teach you..a one on one class on a Saturday sort of thing? $$$ talks!
