We found Ol One Ear, but he wasn't interested in letting us get very close.
Before and after this adventure, I've been within fifty feet of him and he didn't take exception to my being there. I guess he was just having a bad day.

We were riding those Japanese Quarter Horses, so we went looking for points of interest.

This abandon mine was part way up the mountain.

With a little tender loving care, this old TD-18 might run again. I thought it strange it had been left on the mountain. The blade and grousers didn't show much ware.

Nevada is out there somewhere.

A great way to end the day.

Great set of pics, curious about the Cat. It sure doesn't look wore out.
Would that have been a gold mine?

If I had to guess I'd say gold. However it's only a guess. Maybe H' will educate us on the subject.
