Scurs question ?

I know most of you raise homo polled cattle but for those that do not, what is the oldest age you have seen scurs pop up on an animal ?

One of my bulls who has the scurred gene on one side and double polled on the sire side. He now has a nub showing and he is 25 months old. I am with them everyday and it just popped up. Was always smooth before . :?
