I remember it was August 0f 1964, I was living in a tent on the beach on the west coast of Korea when Jim Reeves was killed in a plane crash. I mentioned to my black friends that Jim Reeves had died an one of them said "Who the he?? is Jim Reeves". Abour a month of so later one of them mentioned that James Brown died (I think that was the name) and I said: "Who the he?? is James Brown?

You are welcome..there is so much good old music on the web..I like seeing some of the old concert type shows....I remember my parents watching the tommy hunter show as a young kid growing up on the canada parries....Not sure if you know of tommy hunter or not soap,but every saturday night after hockey night in canada finished ,tommy hunter came on...I can remember being sent to bed but would listen until i fell asleep...Its a nice memorry i still enjoy today.....
