Both the Rye and the Truck are Semi-Dwarf Varieties

Taken today when I moved fence for feeder cattle. Did not get cows ahead of this quite in time, so it may make greenfeed and get seeded to another crop of swath grazing. The rye is Hazlet, a semi-dwarf variety.

Wow, wish ours was that thick. Trying to find someone to buy it for silage so we can clean the field up a bit. Yours sure looks good.

It's kind of patchy in this field, but a solid graze over and it will be much better.
