Pasture picnic

Good to the last chomp

Peach has a passsion for pickles.

Relaxing. This would have been my entry for the photo contest this week, but my Photobucket kicked the bucket. Peach got it working today.

Still life, or, there is still a little life left in these boots.

View from a high hill

Looking a different direction from the same hill

Lots of smoke on the horizon. Always a scary sight, but a couple phone calls confirmed that it was a "prescribed burn" on
LaCreek Wildlife Refuge.

Shadows on a steep but not very high hill

Spider web in the barn

Talll dark stranger

Intricate weaving

Another day at the office

Resting on his laurels

Full tub

The set-up

Sparky joined us for dinner.

The Kosmo Kid

Sweet Potato sporting a baby bump

You'd think ranching was all fun and games.

If he got paid better he could get his boots fixed.

Trees, dust, and the sun going down

We sorted out some smaller calves

To leave in a different meadow

All they now need to do is go through an open gate.

Riding back to the horse trailer

Congrats to Kosmo & Sweet spud! I think that Dad, Uncle, and Grandma think this is great!

That tall dark stranger is taller, darker and stranger than most tall dark strangers I have seen.
