I have a well with an old hand pump here at home. I would like to pull that and put in a wind mill. is there a used mill place up there?? hard to locate a used one here that is still working.

any idea on the cost of a used one?

Lilly...I know Hubby is dreading the day the kids head off to college, they've been so much help this summer...the tower is a replacement for an old wooden tower that finally gave way. A neighbor built this tower for us...Jigs...I have no idea what it costs to build a tower...but the heads are the most expensive part.

Best part about it is, we already have a windmill and tower. Just needs puttin up.....somewhere where there's water. LOL

Wonder how deep it'd hafta be, there's a couple old hand dug wells in Mr Lilly's granny's front yard. Wonder if they'd work. Then all ya'd hafta do is show up with yer pole truck.

See..... a mini vacation to Texas with a windmill set up LOL That'd work. (Course you'd prolly hafta come in the dead of winter so you'd miss the heat)
