I downloaded all 350 pictures off my camera the other day. Hard to beleive that summer is almost gone, and kids are in school. Now I know what they mean when they say the older you get the faster time goes by.
A couple of pictures after ultrasounding bulls in mid April
One of my daughters paintings.
Heifers out on grass. What a great feeling. No more feeding them in the mud and I let the bull do the work this summer
closeup of the bull 0819
Daughters new project. 4 year old paint mare, Sassy. One of her first rides
1 week before county 4-H horse show. Learning a little about what to expect as this is her first year doing it.
At the County horse show. She did well with her new horse and had fun too.
One for Soapweed, only it isn't mule ears. We moved a group of cows to new pasture.
Some cow pictures taken early July. Still nice and green.
A home raised yearling, 0952, out with the cows for about 2 weeks. He is aggressively chasing cows.
Side view of 0952
calf out of 0709 and first calf heifer.
Mid July , entire family, all my brothers and sisters and spouses camped for a few days at Shadehill resort. Picture is entrance to petrified forest and museum in Lemmon, SD
Entrance to another museum in Lemmon.
Another inside. Absolutely worth the stop.
Tubing on the lake. Kids would have worn out the water if only time allowed it.
We joined a local saddleclub and this is the first playday of the year. Mid July and 82 degrees.
My youngest on my dads horse. He has his own idea of what he wants to do. He kinda goes when he wants to with inexperienced riders.
Eldest at Rushmore music camp. Spent a tiring week there but had a lot of fun and she took full advantage of the opportunity as she was one of 8 out of 145 kids
to play in the Jazz band and sing in the Rushmore singers too.
County fair started as soon as eldest came home but she helped her little sister a lot.
Happy little girl coming out of ring. She gained a lot of confidence in herself today.
0952 after being with cows all summer.
0956 after being with cows all summer too. A home raised M326 son.
