Shorthorn price

What is the price difference between selling shorthorn calves vs. angus calves as yearlings and off the cow.

I'm afraid Shorthorns typically go for $5/cwt less than black Angus, just guessing.

I can't comment on selling weaned calves because we don't sell any. We find that in our area, when selling yearlings, color doesn't affect price very much. Quality is the factor that determines price. We sell lots of shorthorn cross yearlings and we feel that they sell for the same dollar as angus.
