Last year we bred most of our Red and Black cows to this Shorthorn bull.

Yesterday, I went up to our north pasture (2 hours away) to check on things. It was a great day, all the bulls and cows were where they were supposed to be and everything is healthy.

Here are the steer calves from the red cows. The black cows are in a different pasture so I didn't get any photos of them.

Unfortunately I didn't get many heifers. The ones we did get are all pretty nice though. Here's a couple of them

I was very happy when this one was born. Her mother is probably one of our best cows. The last 2 years she had 2 sets of twins of mixed twins, born exactly 365 days apart. The first year she raised both of them, the second we adopted one of them to another cow. I expect this one to make a darn good cow!

This one seems to have lost a bit of her ears and tail, but I don't think that it should affect her maternal abilities.

This one was one of a mixed set of twins, I am a little disappointed about that, her brother was adopted onto another cow.

Here are a few more of the cows that I am breeding back to the bull

Muridale has good cattle i use buster2 from them with good sucess.Keep up the good work.

This is our first bull from them, but we have some Angus/Shorthorn cows that we have from them as well, and they have been very good too.

Wow, looks like 147 has been a bit of a tourist! Looks like a pretty good type of cow to be so well travelled.
Nice deep cows, soggy calves, and the grass situation looks great.

There's a handful of cows like that on this place, I call them Love Letters. :D
