These pictures reminded me of an article that was in this month's issue of Western Horseman. It was about a program south of Valentine, that was workin with young ranchers & land conservancy. Was goin to ask yall earlier if ya were familiar with it, but forgot til now.
 
Good Pix, Soap. Always enjoy them. Looks like you guys are getting some hay. I visiting with a bull customer down by Hastings last week and he said that area is pretty dry again, had a good start, but then she quit. How are your pastures setting? The old lake don't look so cool either. I was just down by Burke, SD this week and they look real good down there, lots of hay and grass, but the corn farmers say they need a good shot of rain. I guess Cowboys and Farmers have 2 different ideas of dry. The corn there is all tassel out and looks to be around 8 foot high. I think it will make some corn. I have been wrong before though.

I haven't taken any pictures of haying yet...they're clear on the far end of the place...(notice I said they're?)..lol I've had so many folks wonder how we get pelicans and seagulls clear up here in this country...I just tell em..these are the smart ones...they know the fishin is much better...lol Glad yur haying is going good...Thanks for the pictures!

Spose Kosmos will miss havin a camera stuck in his face when he's off to college???lol
