Beautiful day today- sunny, no wind and about 35 degrees-- so this is how I entertained the grandkids this afternoon....

tobogganriding004.jpg

Coming back from about 10 miles of playing in the deep snow down in the river points..

Kids waiting for me to take off so they can do a "snap turn"

I don't know how the pup "Jess" is still going...Going to be a tough little gal cause she followed us every step sometimes in snow deeper than she was tall...

Granma riding off into the sunset- taking over the second shift of tobogganing after the kids wore me out...If the Honda quits she can hook up the dog team

Well looks like kids, dogs & grandpaw had a good time today.............good luck
PS tell the lady that keeps everything going around there we appreciated the pictures.

Looks like you all had a good time OT :) If your coat would have been black you could pass for a Hutterite with that beard.

I have know a few folks who had to walk a mile or two or six after their quad went belly up.. Something to do with not paying attention to their fuel level or something

Thats what my wife says too....Whenever the Hoots are in town me and Ol Poppa Hoot get together and argue about who's better looking over a shot of whiskey- then when we ask Momma Hoot she giggles and gives me some of that "Englisch is verruckt" stuff

I walked a time or two with the old machine- but that was 20+ years old and had been rode hard by a passel of kids-- haven't had any problems with the new one- and the kid tells me you can go 10-15 miles or more on the reserve tank....

If getting wet and being froze when they quit is a sign of fun, then those kids had fun...

You are exactly right OT!!!

I think I got one picked out today, so the next time we get snow, like next winter, my wife will have something to pull me around on.

Her legs get pretty tired pulling me around now!!!

BTW, I am looking at a Yamaha Bruin 400. Pretty basic, but should be all she needs.

Those bruins are good tough bikes. My brother in law has one and him and his 2 boys are tough on it. It has landed upside down in the holler more than once. They flip it back on the wheels, straighten the handlebars and hit the key. It has yet to let them walk that I know of.

I prefer the 4 legged horse, hubby likes the iron horse.
Good luck with your purchase.
