Dang, gcreek, thats 17 F. We were 50 F here this am. We just came down the Inside Passage, and it was chilly by my whimpy standards, but nuthin' like you are talking.

We've been close a few times but still no frost this year, since May. Probably would have froze this morning but it was pretty cloudy last night. We got 3/4" of rain yesterday afternoon to about midnight. The heat wave that we have be suffering through ended yesterday and it feels a lot more like fall today

Well it finally did it. Hit 0 degrees right on the nose this morning. 7 months until spring!

There is frost on the roof of the other house this morning, though the thermometer says it is still 38 by our house.

Hard frost here this morning. Should have went elk hunting.
