Soapweed,
Thanks for the pics, gosh those trees make a great windbreak. In this country you have to go miles to even find a lone tree. Sure wish we could grow them here. Our cows make do with coulees and a few man made shelters. Looks like you got a little more snow than we did here, only an inch or so and LOTS of wind. Like OT mentioned this is an incredibly large storm as far as the area its covering.

This is strange. I don't get the pictures whatsoever. I am disappointed as Soap always takes good pictures. I hate looking at snow though  , so maybe it's not all bad.

couple years ago, we were all sittin round one evenin about 5 o'clock at lake Brownwood, thermometer hangin on the tree said 122 degrees. There aint much humidity in that area, but that's still perdy warm.

cowboyup seems to think that living in that sort of environment is what we need to do when we "retire" (hahahahaaaa), but I start whining when the thermometer hits 90!!! Imagine me in 122!?!?

That's how it looked here too Soapweed. That blowing snow outta the east has been tough we don't really have any protection from the east. Was still snowing at four this afternoon and blowing like crazy. :?

They got near 20" of snow last week in southern Mn we did'nt get any which is fine. You folks should have a good hay crop this year with the moisture your getting...

Great Pictures! We have more snow than that, getting kinda deep, but thats OK, it'll make the grass grow!! We really needed it, it's been really dry here all winter. We're over half done calving, so they aren't coming as fast, but we're sure watching them close so they don't get snowed -under!!!
