Dylan, you need to feed your Light Sussex hens a little more to keep them from flying. :P :lol:

I have only ever seen one of those owls in this country. Thanks for the pics.

By the colour - males are pure white and females have the black mottling as seen in the picture. Females are also quite a bit bigger than the males - including their feet :lol:

Here is a picture of a male for comparison.

I've got one in the deep freeze to get mounted-it got hit on the highway-the game wardens got it xrayed and gave me a permit for it. They are a pretty bird. I even have one of those old glass insulators to set it on. The eagles might have finally pulled out I haven't seen one in awhile.
