It snowed!
This morning it was a balmy -3 degrees with 8-9 inches of new snow. I thought I better take pictures before the winds start in and it turns into a three day ground blizzard  .
Heifer calf on salt this morning.
Picture out my window.
Heifers trailing in for feed.
Rabbit hiding under the rocks, waiting for the sun to shine on him.
This won't stay covered with snow very long... supposed to get winds starting tomorrow  . My mood usually goes downhill with each MPH the winds come up  .
The most photographed tree on the place.
The standard "cows eating hay" picture
.
Prairie goats on the way up to the bulls. These animals are entertaining. For those of you who hunt, how hard is it to kill one of these things... they always "run towards predator" . I've even sat on a rock with my three dogs and waited for them to come up to me :? . They just don't strike me as very bright... but I'm sure they're a lot harder to hunt than they appear... at least that's what the hunters want me to believe  .
Some of the bulls.
