Hope you are getting over what ever had you down. The gals said you were kinda under the weather.
Get better my friend.

Thanks, LazyWP. I don't feel worth a darn, and probably felt worse on this New Years Day than most of those who partied hearty last night. :? Peach covered for me and did my hay feeding, for which I am very thankful. :-)

You must be down if it is keeping you from your appointed rounds. You are blessed like I am to have a better half that can and does fill in all the gaps in our outfits. Get well soon, it is not good to stay out of the game too long or you risk being determined redundant.

I've had the "creeping crud" for over a week.... 5 days ago the Doc sent me home some Amoxicillin to help hopefully keep it from going into pneumonia (which I had once and now much more susceptible to)...

I have 5 sick grandkids- and about everyone in this area has been sick... Many have a congested chest/head cold for as long as a month or more...Docs are saying its viral- and antibiotics don't do any good on it- and it has to run its course...

It hasn't put me down- but it sure has negatively influenced my desire to do much...

Hope you get better Soap...

Thanks, folks. It's not much fun; I can guarantee that. :( This too shall pass. I did tell my family that if I was going to croak, it would have been in everyones' best interest had I went the trip before midnight last night, at which time we all fell over the fiscal cliff anyway. It was reassuring to know that they still want me around. :-)

out this way we have had a nasty batch of flu,.. so far Annie and I have missed the worse... but those friends who have gotten it have suffered..

I usually get the flu shot, not by choice,.. but for lack of wanting to argue with the doctor.. this year I am glad I did so far..

for those who have it our prayers are with you.. keep warm and get better

and a second prayer for those takin care of you like Peach.. is just to thank the LORD for the blessings we have in every storm...

Since I was feeling quite sufficiently terrible last night, Peach dug around in the back of the medicine drawer and found some Nyquil with an expiration date of August 2007. I took a big dose at about 7:30 last evening, and another generous shot at 2 a.m. By morning I was sure feeling much better than at any time yesterday, and even managed to get out to feed several bales of hay. Not sure I'm completely out of the woods yet, but do feel considerably better. Thanks for the concern. :-)
