This is only a test. Had this been an actual song, someone much more qualified would have done it. It this frightens anyone, unclick as rapidly as possible.

Not bad for a cowboy! Did you give up completely on using the digit extension?

I wondered if anyone would notice. Somehow it is misplaced at the moment. When found again, I'll give it a try.

Thanks for the kind comments. :-) That Frank Mills song came out just before Peach and I tied the knot in 1979. Even though our wedding was an eight o'clock in the morning outdoor affair, we hauled a piano down by the river, and Karen Cobb played that song for our recessional. Frank Mills is my hero when it comes to piano music. Here is his wonderful version. Of course he has a backup orchestra and all of his fingers. :-)

You may be the only pianist who can say he has lost the same finger multiple times.

ps---"You keep wearing that hat in the house and you'll go bald!!"
(my granny, God Luv 'er!)

If I wasn't already so bald, I wouldn't be wearing that hat in the house.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. The worst thing about playing a piano is that isn't very macho, or "cowboy" to do so. The other problem is it's hard to take a piano along on a mountain pack trip carried by a mule, to play by the evening campfire. :-)

I must admit my first thought was "Man, think how good he could be if he had all his fingers!" That was awesome. I always wanted to either learn to play the piano or guitar, just never took the time. Learned to play golf instead. :P

Haven't you seen the sign?

"Don't shoot the piano player, He's doing is darnedest"

Soap, that was grand! :D You play a heck of a lot better than most even missing part of a finger. I liked your comment about playing around the campfire. I played trumpet in Jr. high school and was 1st chair as i entered my freshman year of high school. But i quit playing for the same reason. :? Always wished i'd played guitar.

Little H is a budding piano player and wants to know if you read music or play by ear?
