Sold 5 Cull Cows Last 2 Weeks

The cows averaged 1237 lbs @ $0.775 / lb = $4767.64 gross. Not half bad. Those cows will more than cover my share of the new herd sire. These were all just open cows that I hadn't got around to shipping earlier. They never got fed grain, just ran with the herd over winter.
 
Cull prices are good. Enjoy it while it lasts. I dont know when but someday prices will go down again.

It has been too long since we saw these kind of prices. I say enjoy it and capitalize on it.
 
Last week I sold a limi cow weighed 1305 brought $87.50/cwt and a black bull 1860 that brought $1.10/cwt
 
It's worth it at low prices. If you don't think so take a job at walmart for a few weeks.
